There was a story in the paper this morning. A woman who worked at the Sony DADC warehouse that was burned down during the riots hanged herself because she didn’t think she would ever be able to find another job. It resonated with me too much. Partly because on the day I tried to kill myself I’d just been turned down for two jobs, and partly because since August we’ve been raising money for the record labels who had stock in that warehouse and never once have I considered the people who worked there and how they might have been affected.
